Commissioner Majors is married to Virginia Travis Majors. They have four children.

His education includes being a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana, graduate studies at Louisiana State University in Advanced Microbial Physiology, and an undergraduate business law class at Louisiana State University.

Mr. Majors was an EMT – Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance Service from 1977 – 1982. He was also employed in that same capacity for Emergency Medical Service Department from 1982 – 1987.

In 1992, he opened Med Express Ambulance Service of which he currently serves as President/CEO.

Mr. Majors has been a Commissioner at the Port of Krotz Springs since May 2017 and was appointed by the St. Landry Parish Council.
