The Port of Krotz Springs is located one mile south of U.S. Hwy. 190, 20 miles north of U.S. Interstate 10 and 20 miles east of U.S. Interstate 49. Located near Simmesport, the Port is situated at mile 47.5 on the Atchafalaya River below the juncture of the Atchafalaya River with the Mississippi River. The Port is 76 miles above the intersection of the Atchafalaya River with the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at Morgan City.
