Local Funeral Director and Owner of Williams Funeral Home, Inc., Vernon Haynes, Sr., graduated with the class of 1966 from J.S. Clark High School and is also a college graduate of Southern University of Baton Rouge. His family has been in the funeral home business since 1932. During their 80 years of serving the area, Williams Funeral Home’s commitment has remained to provide dignified, thoughtful and personalized service. Haynes is a member of Inseparable Friends Benevolent Society and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. He is also a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
